A held sender isn’t turned away. They see a quiet page with your terms up front, before they pay anything. If it matters to them, the fee is insignificant. If it doesn’t, they were never worth the interruption.
Payment is handled by Stripe. Donna is the merchant of record and takes a small fee — paid by the sender, never by you. Paying delivers the message. It’s not a deposit against a reply, and you’re never obliged to answer. Donna never reads the message.

Donna's brief, and anything that reads a word to help you, runs in your own client against mail already in front of you. It does not pass through us.
